The Museum of Lisbon Gardens – Palácio Pimenta are leisure gardens, developed to complement the 17th century palace that is now home to the Museum of Lisbon. This ensemble contains three distinct zones: the formal walled garden, the forest and two former agricultural areas, now repurposed.

The Museum of Lisbon Gardens – Palácio Pimenta are highly biodiverse. There are also some very important organisms that are not so easy to catch sight of: worms!

This workshop follows the process of composting, in a guided visit led by Ana Margarida Campos (from the Museum Education Department), beginning at the composting station of Pimenta Palace. All of the family is invited to roll up their sleeves and get involved.
