Terras de Minas Horticultural Park is located on the School of Agriculture (ISA) campus, opening in April 2023 as part of an agreement between Lisbon Council and ISA.

We invite you to discover the native and exotic plants in the Horticultural Park, medicinal and edible or toxic, and which are the most common. It’s time to eradicate the concept of ‘weeds’ and recover the idea that many of these plants contribute significantly to our diet and health, as well as being vital for the ecosystem, as a shelter for animals, a source of food for pollinators and providing protection against soil erosion. At the end of this activity, we will taste wild teas and patês prepared using some of the plants we identify.
